Is America any different from anywhere else?
Americans think that we are so great. The American image is that of the perfect country. i dont think we are any different than anyone else in the world. We all are the same. Other cultures have different beliefs and customs, but so do we. In the "whole" we are the same. we all have feelings, we all love, hate, forgive and forget. Everyone has beliefs and customs. They may be different but we all have them. America is no different than anywhere else. We have a high poverty level, homelessness, AIDS. Every where there is problems, i just dont understand why people believe that our country is the "best place to live". Yeah we have freedom and stuff other countries dont. But the fact that we like to think we are better than everyone. Here we have prejudice, against everyone. You dont just have to be African american anymore, we are prejudice to Overweight people, smokers, people that dont have jobs or make less money. There is no peace in our country and i dont think there ever will be the way we are going. i think people need to stop and think about it. We are not the best place to live in the world, not even close. Every country is the same, they all have problems, the same as us, if not more, but that doesnt make us better than them.
